Platform

Addressing Funding Shortage

Our students’ education is an investment in our community’s future, and I will ensure it is a top priority. I pledge to work tirelessly to secure the funds our schools require. This means advocating for increased state funding, exploring grants, and collaborating with local partners, from major employers to small businesses and nonprofits.

Staffing for Success

Our educators and staff are the backbone of our schools. I am committed to attracting and retaining the best talent by advocating for competitive salaries, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment. Together, we can build a team that inspires and empowers our students.

Championing Educational Excellence

Academic achievement is non-negotiable. I will support initiatives that promote STEM education, the arts, and comprehensive curricula that prepare our students for the challenges of tomorrow. By setting high standards and providing the resources needed to meet them, we will foster a culture of excellence.

Ensuring School Safety

Every student deserves a safe space to learn and grow. I will work to implement robust safety protocols, support mental health resources, and ensure our schools are equipped to handle emergencies. All students’ well-being is paramount, and I will make it my duty to protect it.

Promoting Two-Way Communication

A thriving school district is built on the foundation of open dialogue. I advocate for transparent communication channels that encourage feedback and active participation from parents, teachers, and students. Your voice is essential, and I promise to listen to your concerns and ideas and advocate with the district to consider community input as part of policy development, not after the fact.

Together, we can surmount the challenges facing Round Rock ISD and build a school district that we are all proud to be a part of. I ask for your support in this election so that we can work hand in hand to create a brighter future for our children and our community.
